Our good friend Chris Byron was able to spend 4th of July weekend with us, he is in the area for work for the next 2 months.
We had a great time catching up with him. We used to be neighbors, but we haven't seen him for about 10 years! The kids love him (and his iPad!) We are excited to see the rest of his family when they join him in a couple weeks.
Anyway, we started our 4th with some games and then had a cook-out with Chris and our good friends the Sparks. Then we headed up to JBAB to hang out and watch some fireworks. We met up with the McCammons and the Davis' there too.

We had a great time!
...and what made it better was having no traffic issues on the way home!

Fun times! We've watched the fireworks from JBAB before! Good thing your camera has a good zoom!!!! LOL!
no traffic? that's a miracle. DC is the best for the 4th.
I love that you guys do fun things and always include other people in the fun! Looks like eventually we should step out from behind the camera so our posterity can know we actually existed. :)
