Provo Beach Resort

We had some family fun last night at the Provo Beach Resort.

It's a pretty cool place.

I didn't get very many pictures because we were just enjoying the fun.

Anna was actually pretty good at the basketball game.

I was lucky enough to catch one of her streaks :)

Bonus: It was free because Mike belongs to Corporate Alliance and it was an event they had for their members and their families.

Fun at Skate Night

The school sponsored a skate night last week
and Isaac and Anna really wanted to go, so I decided why not.

I'm glad we went, they had so much fun!
I had a pretty good time to.

Cabelas

On the 10th of October the kids didn't have school and so we had decided that we were going to get together with some family. Initially we thought we might go to the zoo, but then it was such a rainy day that we decided to go to Cabela's. I had never been there so I didn't know what to expect since it's just a store. My mom assured me that the kids would enjoy it and that there was even a place where they would be able to shoot some guns.

 This antler light fixture made both mom and I think of Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.
I use antlers in all of my decorating, my what a guy that Gaston!

We stopped for lunch at Paradise Cafe on our way home. I think everyone had a good time :)

Noah's Day

Drawing game

We love this game.

It's always fun to see how everyone's pictures are different, and similar
* this is a game that I remember playing with my brothers and sisters when I was growing up.
In response to my friend Robyn's request, I'm going to tell you how to play.

What you need: paper and colored pencils, crayons, markers...whatever you have...(I've even played it a few times with just regular pencils, it's still fun!)

How to play: Everyone gets a blank piece of paper. One person goes first and tells everyone what to draw and where to draw it. For example in the game below  you can see that we had to draw a shark in the bottom left corner... then the next person tells something else to draw and where to draw it... we had to draw a man with a hat in the upper right corner...and so on and so on. You can go around as many times as you want. For the game pictured below we only went around the table once, so each person only picked one thing. 

Anyway, like I said, It's always fun and interesting to reveal the pictures.
